Project 1: Road Hunt

Context

when? where? who? why?

You can use our app anytime during your holidays, or when you plan to go on a road trip.

Our goal is to make any driving experience a memorable one. In order to make this happen, you will be able to play Road Hunt anywhere you can drive.

You may ask yourself: who is this for? It's simple: our long term goal is to include anyone who can drive a car as one of our player. However, as of now, we will start by entertaining families by making road trips funnier than ever for parents and their kids.

But why families first? How does it make sense? We think that parents face great issues when trying to entertain their kids on a road trip and they will be the ones to benefit the most from it.

Target

for whom?

Road Hunt is well designed for everyone. But we want to start by targeting families in order to have a well targeted product for a very specified niche of consumers. We think that families are the ones that will benefit the most from our product : it's so hard to entertain kids on the road. Not anymore thanks to Road Hunt!

Service offered

what? how?

We allow the user not only to be on a road trip but also to be immersed in a game, and share this game with the entire family.
The game consists in having mysteries to resolve. You find clues to help you with your quest on the road to your destination.

It's really simple to have fun with road hunt : you juste have to download the app and enter your destination.
Road Hunt will automatically add points of interest on your way to your destination. Every stop is an opportunity to collect new hints for your treasure hunt and gather more information. It's a great way not only to have fun in family by solving the mystery but also to discover the best places on your way to your destination.

Hints and clues are only visible with your smartphone : it's augmented reality. It's really handy because we do not need to place real hints and clues in the real world. It also allows the user to play road hunt anywhere !

Project 2: VRoad Trip

Context

when? where? who? why?

VRoad Trip stands for Virtual Road Trip and is made to allow everyone to enjoy the road trip experience.

When? The devices (virtual reality headsets, 4D adapted seat ) will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - The amount of hours of use and the time of use will be decided directly by retirement homes and health centers for the elderly

Where? The devices will be available in retirement homes, health centers for the elderly and to a lesser extent in private homes

Who is this for? Our project mainly targets elderly people with reduced mobility. However it can be expanded to people who don't have the financial means to travel.

Why do we favour older couples? We favour older couples because their reduced mobility is a plague and in most cases they cannot travel as they would like. Since they cannot go abroad and discover the world by moving, we plan to bring the world back to them. The aim is to allow them to discover unusual places in the form of a "static" road trip before it is too late.

Target

for whom?

In the short term, our project mainly targets elderly people with reduced mobility. In a perspective of development of our project, It could later be extended to disabled couples, couples having with disabled children, or poor people. In other words, in the long term, we want to target all people with reduced mobility who cannot travel because of their physical or financial status.

Service offered

what? how?

We offer the opportunity to make a virtual road trip to those who cannot. Thanks to our new technology, everyone can travel, discover and approach the world in their own way. Our project naturally uses VR headsets but it goes beyond VR. Indeed, users will also be able to smell and feel things thanks to a large selection of devices. For instance a 4D adapted seat will be used.

Thus our project consists in creating a three-dimensional environment using a computer. In other words, we will create a totally virtual road trip. It is a technology that will allow anyone to immerse theirselves in an artificial world created digitally, a world which would be a reliable and accurate reproduction of the real world. Users will be able tp enjoy a road trip in the country of their choice.

Several options will be proposed, such as the possibility of having geographical, historical and cultural information displayed directly on the screen, or a visit to the past of certain monuments, particularly at the time of their construction.
